"ResBalance™ - Reservoir Material Balance Tool"
ResBalance™ is a user-friendly Windows™ based program. Data input and setup is easy. It gives fast and descriptive results to help expedite your reservoir analysis.
This software was developed with the engineer in mind. It's practicality and ease-of-use make it suitable for all petroleum engineers involved in oil exploitation. Users can quickly and easily import data and view results.
Important features of ResBalance™ include:
- Plots to assist in analyzing the material balance results, including; Havlena and Odeh plots, calculated OOIP versus time, calculated drive indexes versus time and calculated versus actual pressure profile.
- Diagnostic plots regarding reservoir performance and conditions, including; F/(Eo+Efw) versus Total Oil Production, Campbell plot (F/Ef versus F), F/(Eo+Efw) versus Delta P(Pi-Pt), Instantaneous and Cumulative VRR versus time.
- Easy import of production and injection data using geoSCOUT, Accumap and Epic formats.
- Create pressure profiles in ResBalance™ or import pressure profiles.
- PVT data is easy to insert - ResBalance™ allows you to import existing data, manually input the data or automatically generate the required data.
- Import an aquifer profile or use the built in Schilthuis, Hurst or van Everdingen functions to create an aquifer function.
- Speed - rapid what-if scenario screening.
